How many children are going on the scavenger hunt and how old are they?
You will receive a cotton bag containing envelopes, markers and a bingo card. With your order you will receive a card with the starting point of the scavenger hunt. Go to the indicated starting point and open the introduction envelope. At each stop (there are eleven) there is an envelope with information about what you see, a game and directions to the next stop of the scavenger hunt. Along the way, spot all the objects on the bingo card. All games completed? Inside the last envelope is a little surprise….
How long does it take?
That depends on how fast you walk! And how often you stop along the way. The scavenger hunt is 1.5 kilometers and you can do the tour entirely at your own pace. Keep in mind that it takes around 2 hours if you complete the scavenger hunt without too many ice cream stops. Want to bring your own sandwiches and drinks? Halfway along the route is a playground where you can rest or eat something. If you stop along the way to eat, drink or play in the playground, the scavenger hunt will take a bit longer than 2 hours.
Do you need to be able to read/write?
The big kids read the texts of stories and questions themselves and write down the answers. Little ones can be read to; their games do not include writing assignments.
Can everyone do the scavenger hunt?
Yes! You can walk, scoot, hop! Participating from a stroller is also possible, though there are two small stairs on the route. Will there be a wheelchair user in your group? Let us know via email and you will receive a custom itinerary!
Will there be a guide with you?
No, you are the guide! This means you don’t have to be at a specific place at a certain time. Would you prefer a guide? That’s possible too! You can send an inquiry via info@wonderoute.com.

Fun way to discover Montmartre with kids
Been to Paris quite a few times and with it Montmartre. Now mother-daughter trip with my 7-year-old and what a fun way to discover Montmartre together. I also saw new things and learned fun facts and my daughter loved the scavenger tour.

Very nice discovery of this treasure hunt that is both fun and educational!I did this route with my 10 year old daughter, and it was a very pleasant moment.We always appreciate Montmartre for its charm, but with Wonderoute we always learn a little more about this district, its history and its artists (even for me)Highlight of this passage: Dalida, my daughter just learned one of her songs at school, she discovered that she lived there.We want more, so we're impatiently awaiting new episodes in Paris!

Great experience to discover Montmartre with kids!
We ordered the interactive game/discovery Wonderoute tour through Montmartre last minute. Nevertheless, everything was delivered more than on time in our hotel. I made a mistake while I was ordering and Wonderoute contacted me to correct my order (English to Dutch version). That's a phenomenal service!The tour itself is really great with kids. Our 8 & 10y old really enjoyed the combination of information, discovery with the bingo card, finding the right directions,...!And I liked the fact that I discovered new parts of Montmartre even while I visited it 2-3 times before!1 idea to improve even more: it would be a good idea to indicate the (coffee) bars/restaurants/... on the maps). It's easier than have to scan a 2D barcode on the phone.Again, it was a great experience!

48 Franco-Allemands teenagers discover MONTMARTE together!
As I had already tested this scavenger hunt successfully with my own children, I decided to give it a go... And I decided to send 24 of my French 13-14 yo students compagnied by 24 German exchange students to discover Montmartre in small groups.. Instructions were very clear and already updated since last time. The teenagers happy and proud to do and achieve something on their own! Great for both their language and social skills. Creative and cultural skills and knowlegde as well, according to the numberous filled out cards I received back! And last but not least to hang out on the stairs with the most beautiful view of Paris. Receiving a little reward while singing, because one of the teachers was crazy enough to bring a ukelele along.. An afternoon to remember!
